A floor drain looks like a commodity fitting. In a real bathroom it is a sealing, drainage and maintenance problem: it has to stop sewer odor and insects when there is no flow, drain fast when there is, and be cleanable without removing the whole assembly. Most floor-drain complaints — odor backflow, slow drainage, bugs, impossible cleaning — come from weak seal design or a structure that cannot be serviced.

The engineering point of the F10010 is that the removable cleaning structure is treated as a core function, not an afterthought — the drain cleans quickly without disassembly, and the water path stays large enough to drain fast around the removable cover.

• Anti-odor one-way seal — a check/seal mechanism that blocks sewer odor when there is no water flow.
• Anti-insect barrier — a sealed design that prevents drain flies and insects from entering through the drain.
